(NEWS CENTER) -- L.L. Bean is temporarily laying off 150 of the 200 employees working at its Bangor call center. L.L. Bean says this is typically a slow time of year, but it is even slower due to the struggling economy.

L.L. Bean operates four call centers in Maine. The Bangor office is the only one being scaled back. They hope to start calling workers back in July.
