TRENTON (NEWS CENTER) -- A man from Northeast Harbor died Friday morning after hitting a pickup truck head-on.

Authorities say Brad Kenney, 31, died at Eastern Maine Medical Center from his injuries. Hancock County Sheriff's Deputies said Kenney was driving north on Route 3 around 6 a.m., when he crossed into the southbound lane.

Kenney hit a truck being driven by William Brownlee, 29, of Ellsworth. Both Kenney and Brownlee had to be taken out of their cars with help from the Trenton Fire Department.

Both men were taken to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, and then to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

The Sheriff's Department is investigating the crash.
