BAR MILLS (NEWS CENTER) -- Leavitt's Mill Free Health Center has expended to a new, larger building in Bar Mills.

The center offers free health services for the uninsured throughout Southern Maine. In the last six years the mostly volunteer staff has provided more than half a million dollars in free services.

The new location at 63 Main Street in Bar Mills allows several specialists to be in the clinic at the same time. In the past if a patient needed additional care they would have to return a second day simply because there wasn't enough space for the entire medical team to be in the building at the same time.
