WINDHAM (NEWS CENTER) -- Maine game wardens have recovered the body of a missing swimmer on Sebago Lake.

The Warden Service identfied him as Sean Casey, age 21, from Cape Elizabeth. He was swimming with a group of friends from the back of a boat. Witnesses say Casey jumped off and was having a hard time getting back to the boat. Before he could be pulled back in, he went under.

The incident happened in the Jordan Bay area of Sebago in a spot that is about 50 feet deep. Rescue crews searched by boat and by plane Monday night but were unable to locate the swimmer until Tuesday
