ST. AGATHA (NEW CENTER)--Wardens say a man has apparently drowned in Long Lake in northern Maine.

The Maine Warden Service will be back in the waters of Long Lake in far northern Maine Thursday morning. Wardens say a man trying to retrieve a child's float toy from the lake in St. Agatha-Madawaska went under and did not come up Wednesday afternoon.

The man's name has not been released because his family has not been notified.
