Halloween Fun In Prospect And Bucksport

PROSPECT (NEWS CENTER)--Halloween is still over a month away but the Friends of Fort Knox are already gearing up for a very scary event at the fort.

Fright at the Fort is expected to just as scary has its been for the past 10 years. Their event has drawn such a crowd that the town of Bucksport has teamed up with the Friends of Fort Knox to put on their own show.

Leon Seymour, Friends of Fort Knox says "Ghostport is going to be along the entire main street while Fright at the Fort takes place in the dark tunnels of Fort Knox. It is quite scary, they're going to get their feet wet this year we'll see how scary they can be"

Expect to see costumes, coffin races and dance the night away at the Monster Mash. Events get underway Friday October 23rd.  Fright at the Fort runs for 2 back-to-back weekends.

Chowdah Cookoff 11:30-?

Pumpkin Catapult 4:00

Coffin races 6:00

Night parade 6:00-8:00 Scare Trek and shuttle to Fright at the Fort

Sat, October 23, 24, 30 and 31st 5:30pm - 9:00pm

Fort Knox Prospect Maine

Visitors are led through the dark passageways of Fort Knox where indescribable things lurk in the shadows, creating screams of fright. Admission is $5 per person. For more information click the link on the right of the page.
