DIXMONT (NEWS CENTER) -- Residents of Dixmont will get a chance to voice their opinions Tuesday night on a proposed ordinance that would regulate wind energy development. The Dixmont planning board has been working on this ordinance for several months. Town leaders realized the town had no regulations in place to address wind energy after some developers started doing some preliminary feasibility studies on Mount Harris two years ago. The meeting is scheduled for 7pm Tuesday night at Gold Crest Riders snowmobile club. If you would like to read the proposed ordinance click here.
