Sen. Snowe Hears More On Healthcare Reform

BANGOR (NEWS CENTER)--Senator Olympia Snowe continues to face intense lobbying from groups who want a health care reform bill.

Members of the group Moveon.org gathered in front of Senator Snowe's offices all across the state from Presque Isle to Biddeford.

The group is asking the senator to support a health care reform bill that has a public option.

Kathy Missal from Moveon.org says "I think its a really big issue in our economy Today and I think its important and its time its a moral imperative. people in this country should have access to decent and affordable healthcare."

Moveon.org repreentatives say it has a new report showing how a public option could save mainers money.

Opponents to the public option plan argue that it will cost taxpayers too much.
