BANGOR (NEWS CENTER) -- U.S. District Court in Bangor has thrown out a lawsuit filed by the former town manager of Milo against the town.
Milo's Board of Selectmen voted in November 2007 to remove Jane Jones from her job for financial misconduct. Jones filed lawsuit against the town for conspiracy, breach of contract, defamation of character, and emotional distress.
The court threw the case out Monday without costs or fees to either party. The town of Howland hired Jones in the spring to be the town manager there.
