PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER) Maine is facing a budget shortfall of about $400,000,000. Finance Commissioner Ryan Low is working with the Governor to find cuts to balance the budget.
Appearing on In The Arena, Low talks about the budget and the process, including how revenue forecasts are made, why they are so often wrong, and about the prospects for layoffs and program cuts.
