BREWER (NEWS CENTER)--  After nine years at its location in North Brewer, Airline Pharmacy is moving.

The new, smaller store will be located at the Eastern Maine Medical Center's new Lafayette Cancer Treatment Center on Whiting Hill in Brewer.

Pharmacy officials say it is a difficult move but one that is necessary.

Paul Sevigny of pharmacy services says, "For us to move this facility to a smaller facility, where we are going to focus on oncology, cancer care, over there with the new center, and we just work to our strengths."

Airline Pharmacy will close next week and reopen at its new store on December 14th.

People who get their prescriptions from Airline Pharmacy will still be able to get their prescriptions sent by mail.  They can also pick them up at Riverside Pharmacy at Eastern Maine Medical Center or West Gate Pharmacy on Union Street.
