ROCHESTER, NH (NEWS CENTER) -- The man accused of taking his two year old daughter, triggering Maine's first amber alert, will soon be back in Maine.
Gary Traynham of Kennebunk appeared in Rochester District Court this afternoon, where he waived extradiction. That means he will be returned to Maine within fourteen days.
When he does return, he'll be facing charges of gross sexual assault and burglary. Traynton took his two year old daughter Hailey after assaulting his wife. An amber alert was issued, and he was arrested the next day in Milton, NH.
