New Goowill Store Opens

ELLSWORTH (NEWS CENTER)-- The newest Goodwill store had a Grand Opening celebration Friday morning.

The celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony, door prizes and drawings for gift certificates. 

The new store is located at 15 Downeast Highway near the intersection of Routes 1 and 3.  The building was constructed on the former site of Dave Gould Ford.   

The new store has a drive through where people can make donations.  It was built with "green" windows and recycled steel.  It is also in Energy Star compliance.

Store and donation center hours are Monday through Saturday 9 am - 9 pm and Sunday 9 am - 7 pm.
