MEDWAY (NEWS CENTER)--The State Fire Marshal's Office says a man has been arrested and charged with arson for a series of fires in Medway.

Douglas J. Deloge, 39 years old, of Medway was arrested by Fire Marshal investigators and charged in connection with a fire that destroyed a vacant house in Medway early Thursday morning.
Deloge was arrested at the East Millinocket police department where had been questioned about the fire.  Fire Marshals say the police department and Medway Fire Department assisted in the investigation. There have been three other arson fires in Medway since late October, but Deloge is only charged with the latest blaze on Thursday which ironically was also his birthday.

Deloge will be taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor.
