New Signs Direct Portland Visitors

PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER) -- The city of Portland is hoping to steer its visitors in a better direction.

They've installed signs throughout downtown, guiding people through the arts district. the old port, and the waterfront.

The downtown district organization worked with Wilbur Smith Associates, a Portland company, to design the signs.

City and state officials say the signs will cut down on tourist confusion, and hopefully keep people interested in what Portland has to offer.
