
WEST PARIS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police have identified the victims from Monday's crash on Route 26 that left one person dead.
State Police say Tricia Beretz of Somerville, Massachusetts was headed southbound when her Acura crossed the center line and into the path of a tractor-trailer driven by Warren Dunning of Dixfield.
EARLIER: Three vehicle crash kills one
The tractor-trailer lost control and collided with a pickup truck driven by Richard Ray of Naples. The tractor-trailer, which was hauling wood chips, rolled over on top of Ray's pickup truck. Ray was killed instantly.
Route 26 was shut down for nine hours while investigators reconstructed the accident and crews cleaned up the scene.
State police say the reason Beretz crossed the center line is not fully known, but possible driver fatiqgue is suspected. Drug and alcohol tests will be conducted for all 3 drivers.
No charges have been filed. The crash is under investigation and the findings will be presented to the District Attorney's Office for review.
