BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER)--  Police arrested a Bangor woman Monday and charged her with theft.

48 year old Shirley Regan was arrested Monday after police were called to JC Penney for a shoplifter in custody.

JC Penney security says they got information from another store in the mall that they had seen Regan and another woman acting suspicious in their store and overheard they were going to JC Penney.

JC Penney says their security camera got video of Regan entering the store, then removing clothes from clothing racks and putting them in another shopping bag.

The woman that was with Regan has not been charged.

Police say Regan does have prior theft charges.
