CLINTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - State Police say they have found the body of a young mother from New Hampshire who has been missing since mid-December.

Police say residents in the town of Clinton discovered the body of Sarah Rogers around 2:00 PM Saturday.  They had been out looking on their property for any signs of the missing woman in the area where her car was found.

Sarah Rogers, 29, was from Barrington, New Hampshire.  Her family put out calls for help shortly after her disappearance.  Rogers suffered from bi-polar disorder and she left her home in a manic state on December 13, 2009.  A tow truck driver found her abandoned car about eight hours later in the town of Clinton, Maine.

Rogers' family appeared on the Today Show earlier this week, renewing their pleas for help.

Rogers' body was found off the southbound lane of the interstate, near the Mutton Lane overpass.  She was less than half a mile from where her car was found.

Police say there were no signs of foul play.  The cause of death will be determined in an autopsy scheduled for Monday (3/15).
