PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A number of the candidates for governor are hopeful about the latest poll numbers that show about half of the voters are still undecided. The poll was conducted by Pan Atlantic SMS group in Portland over eight days ending last Saturday. It shows that among the 300 Republican voters surveyed, 47% are still undecided. Nearly 62% of the 300 likely Democratic voters surveyed are still undecided. With four Democratic candidates and seven Republican candidates, some voters say it's been a difficult race to keep up with. The candidates say the numbers show the race is still wide open. They hope voters will do the research and show up at the polls on June 8th.
