
(NBC) - An early bedtime could your boost your pre-schooler's academic skills. A study of 8-thousand kids finds those who had a consistent bedtime at four years old -- scored higher on a battery of tests, including literacy and math. Kids who got less than eleven hours of sleep each night had lower test scores. Earlier bedtimes and firm bedtime routines were also associated with higher developmental scores.
