PELHAM, N.H. (AP) -- A woman says her sandal stuck on her gas pedal, causing her to drive into a house in Pelham, N.H.

Police tell WMUR-TV the 62-year-old driver told them when she tried to free her sandal Tuesday, the two shoes actually got caught together, instead. The car veered off the road, first hit a tree, then went into the house, where four children were watching TV. No one was hurt.

Police said the driver had her 4-year-old grandchild in the vehicle, as well. The child was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
