HOOKSETT, NH (NEWS CENTER) - New Hampshire State Police confirm that two people have died from a small plane crash on I-93 in Hooksett, New Hampshire.
State Police say the crash happened at mile marker 26.2 at the ramp for 293 and the Everett Turnpike southbound. Police say the ramp from 93 north and to 293 south is closed and I-93 is down to one lane on the northbound side.
While police are still investigating, Lt. Chris Wagner says that the preliminary investigation shows that the plane struck a light pole. He also said that one person had been ejected from the plane, while another was still inside.
Wagner said that they are seeking any witnesses that may have seen the plane crash, or seen the plane prior to the crash. Witnesses are asked to call the State Police dispatch at 1-603-271-3636.
Lt. Wagner said the investigation will be on-going.
