SOUTH THOMASTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Law Enforcement agents have arrested a man from Greenbush on bath salts charges for the second time in 2013.
Leonard Wells was arrested Tuesday.
In a media release from the Department of Public Safety, Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Supervisor James Pease says Wells was found hiding at a home in South Thomaston.
Supervisor Pease says that when he was first confronted, Wells gave a false name because he knew that there were warrants out for his arrest.
Wells had been arrested in January and is facing felony charges. Drug Agents at the time seized a million dollars worth of bath salts.
Drug agents seized $450,000 worth of bath salts at the mail sorting facility in Hampden last week. The drugs came in a package from the country of China. The package was addressed to Wells.
