PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- From Spose to the Rustic Overtones, some of the biggest names in Maine music will be coming together to play a show at the State Theatre in July.
The "State of the State" will be on July 12th, and will feature The Other Bones, The Wrecking, Spose, Rustic Overtones, and The Mallett Brothers Band.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the State Theatre's website.
The event is supposed to be a celebration of the state of Maine's music scene and business community.
Presented by Katalyst, a Portland-based clothing company, and Baxter Brewing, a craft brewing company in Lewiston, organizers call it the "concert of the summer."
It is also a tribute to Raina Jensen, a Portland woman killed in a car accident in 2010. Her foundation works to better her communities in Maine, and in Fiji, where she volunteered.
