Truck Breaks Through Thin Ice

LIMINGTON (NEWS CENTER) -- Around 1:00 A.M. Thursday, a man driving his pick-up truck broke through the thin layer of ice covering Mill Pond in Limington.

The pond has about 5 to 6 inches of ice covering it. With help from a back-hoe they were able to get the truck out of the pond. It was sitting in approximately 6 feet of water.

The driver was 23-year-old Matthew Tyler.

There were no injuries.
