Two men arrested in 3rd Lewiston fire

LEWISTON, Maine(NEWS CENTER) - Police said late Friday night that two men have been arrested in connection with the third Lewiston fire.

Police said the Monday morning fire on Bartlett Street was arson and have arrested 29-year-old Brian Morin, and 23-year-old Bryan Wood, both face three charges -- class A arson for all three charges.

Wood lives at 131 Bartlett Street and Morin was a transient who had been staying with Wood.

Arrests were made on Friday night. Police also said they are not speculating about motive at this time.

Both men are being held at Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn. Both are also expected to make their court appearances on either Monday or Tuesday.

According to police, these arrests have no connection with the other two fires.
