Henry Fonda was born on May 16, 1905.

He starred in nine movies under the direction of Maine-native John Ford.  They didn't wait long after their first collaboration to work together again.  "Young Mr. Lincoln" and "Drums Along the Mohawk" both hit theaters in 1939, just a few months apart.
