PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Former Republican presidential candidate made a stop in Maine to stump for Mark Holbrook, who's challenging Democratic incumbent Chellie Pingree for her seat in Congress.
Carly Fiorina spoke at a fundraiser in Portland for the Holbrook campaign.
Fiorina says our country needs more politicians like Holbrook who are long time community members that can put the needs of the citizens first.
"He knows something about the people he intends to represent. And he knows as well, how the government is and is not serving them," said guest speaker Fiorina.
"Carly is going around the country supporting conservative candidates and she learned about me and said can I come help. It was very humbling to have that happen. And the campaign is going great, we are looking forward to the next 63 days I think it is, and retiring Congresswoman Pingree," said GOP candidate Holbrook.
