Voice of the Voter: Weld in Maine

Candidate Gov. Weld arrives in central Maine.

 

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Libertarian vice presidential candidate William Weld made a campaign stop in Maine Monday 

This visit is part of the 2016 liberty tour and he will be talking with students at Central Maine Community College.

Weld who is a former governor of Massachusetts is touring the country with other libertarians to campaign for Libertarian Presidential nominee Gary Johnson.

Weld talked about the push to urge the commission on presidential debates to allow candidates polling below fifteen percent to be in the debates -- he feels that could have made more of a difference in this election.

While Weld is optimistic about returns on election day -- he's also looking forward to the future of his party.
