WASHINGTON, DC (NEWS CENTER) -- MSNBC.com reports that a quarter of the nation's metro areas are recovering from the recession, though the big population centers that drive the economy are not yet feeling any rebound.
None, for instance, is in California or Florida. 2 out of 8 metro areas in Massachusetts is considered in recovery. There is only one metro area in Northern New England that is now in recovery, and that is the Manchester-Nashua area of New Hampshire.
These finding are bases on September data.
