Two Auburn burglary suspects on the run, considered armed and dangerous: cops

UPDATE: Auburn Police now say they are investigating a second burglary that occurred in the same block as the first burglary reported on Thursday. 

The suspects are described as two white males wearing masks. They say they held the woman who came home at gunpoint and tied her up.

Police say the suspects fled the scene in the owner’s 2004 brown Ford Explorer ME reg 4142ST and 2016 Harley Davidson.

They say the motorcycle was recovered in Poland shortly after the burglary was reported. The Explorer is still missing. 

 

 

AUBURN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police in Auburn are warning the public of two burglary suspects on the run, who are considered to be armed and dangerous.

On Thursday afternoon, they said a homeowner on Park Avenue came home and interrupted a burglary in progress. 

The two suspects took the owner's car: a 2004 Brown Ford Explorer with Maine license plates 4142ST.

Police say to call 911 if you think you see the suspects and do not approach them.
