(NEWS CENTER) - Have you ever watched a Nor'easter approach, looked at your thermometer and thought "Man they really blew it this time...it's too WARM to snow"

Well sometimes (personally VERY rarely :-)) we do get the precipitation type wrong, but more often there is a mechanism called "Evaporative Cooling" that we are counting on to make it cold enough to snow.
