TOPEKA, Kansas (KSNT) -- A Kansas man is recovering after spending nearly 24 hours trapped in his crashed car.
He was rescued after a passing motorist spotted his vehicle in the bed of a dry creek near Interstate 70 Monday afternoon and called authorities.
Crews on the scene pulled the man from the car which was believed to have been there since Sunday night. The man was found with a towel, which he was using to dip into the creek and drink from.
LifeStar transported the man, who was identified as Daniel Delatore to a local Topeka hospital. Delatore is expected to pull through according to medical staff.
