BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Bangor police say a 22-year-old man was jumped and attacked by several men on Thursday afternoon.
Police say that the attack happened at 2:32 in the afternoon in the area of Coombs Street near Forest Ave. Police say the victim was struck with brass knuckles and threatened with a knife and that he was punched and kicked repeatedly. They say an undisclosed amount of money was taken, along with some pocket knives.
Police said the victim knew at least one of the attackers. After an investigation, police arrested 20-year-old Damian Ouellette of Bangor, 20-year-old Anthony Hardy, of Veazie and 18-year-old Raven Hardy of Bangor. All we're charged with robbery and aggravated assault. Police say that a 16-year-old male juvenile was also arrested and charged with robbery and aggravated assault.
The victim was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center where he was treated and released.
