Arosa, Switzerland (NEWS CENTER)--Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Seth Wescott of Kingfield, Maine edged World Cup leader Pierre Vaultier of France in photo finish. It was sweet revenge for the Sugarloafer who lost his last World Cup start when Vaultier came from behind to defeat him at Telluride.

It was just the second victory in 69 World Cup stars for Wescott who is two for two in Olympic Snowboard finals. The 34-year old Mainer said, "It's good that it worked out.  I was aiming for good results in my few starts this year.  My focus remains the 2014 Olympics at Sochi.

Vaultier was also pleased with today's results, "That was Seth's revenge," he told reporters. "For sure I would have preferred to win, but the second rank is also good as now I am in the overall lead. I expect to give my best tomorrow in order to repeat my 2010 title."

Alexandre Jekova won today's women's race to become the first Bulgarian to win a World Cup Boarder Cross race.  Dominique Maltais has already wrapped up this year's overall SBX World Cup title.
