NEWS CENTER- Two former all-stars seem to be on the verge of getting back to the Red Sox.

Centerfielder Jacoby Ellsbury and starter Clay Buccholz played in a rehab game with Triple A Pawtucket on Sunday.

Ellsbury, whose separated right shoulder has kept him out of the Sox lineup since April 13, went 1 for 4 with a run scored.   He's expected to continue his rehab at Fenway Park over the All-Star break this week.

Buccholz, whos missed the past three weeks with esophagitis, pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing only one hit, and striking out three.  Barring any setbacks, he's expected to start at Fenway next Saturday against Tampa Bay.
