NEWS CENTER - Well the game most Maine High School Football fans anticipated since the day the schedule came out is finally upon us. One slight problem, that game isn't played until tomorrow. The 6 - 0 Cheverus Stags with head to Saco to face the 6 - 0 Thornton Academy Golden Trojans in the game that could bring Coach Wolfgram even with another Coach Wolfram squad in the history books. The Cheverus Stags, with a win Saturday, could equal the most consecutive wins streak by a Class A team with 31 wins, originally held by Wolfgram's South Portland squad of the mid-90s.

Before we get there though, there are loads of good match-ups Friday night for the Often Imitated, Never Duplicated, Highly Anticipated USA Today High School Sports Fifth Quarter.  We will be all over this great State of Maine to bring you highlights from the best games of the night.
