Indian Wells, CA (Sports Network) - Juan Martin del Potro and Rafael Nadal were semifinal winners Saturday and will play for the title at the $4.33 million BNP Paribas Open.

The seventh-seeded Del Potro rallied to beat world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 on the hardcourts at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, snapping the Serbian's 22-match winning streak.

Del Potro had lost four straight meetings with Djokovic since beating him to claim the bronze medal at last summer's London Olympics.

The former U.S. Open champion del Potro is the second Argentine to reach the final in tournament history. Guillermo Vilas was the runner-up in 1977 in Palm Springs.

Del Potro will play in his 20th career final. He captured his 14th title in Rotterdam earlier this year.

Nadal, meanwhile, topped sixth-seeded Czech Tomas Berdych, 6-4, 7-5, to reach his fourth ATP Tour final in as many events this season.

Off to the best start of his career, the Spaniard ran his match winning streak to 13 and improved to 16-1 in 2013. He won clay-court titles in Sao Paulo and Acapulco and finished runner-up at Vina del Mar.

Saturday's win was Nadal's 12th straight over Berdych, including seven in a row on hard courts.

Nadal, the Indian Wells champ in 2007 and 2009, is 7-3 lifetime against del Potro.

The 2013 Indian Wells winner will collect $1 million.
