Frisco, TX - The Maine Red Claws continued their pursuit of their first ever playoff spot with a 109-94 win over the Texas Legends.
Maine (23-21) are currently ninth the NBA D-League standings just percentage points behind the eight seeds Sioux Falls (22-20).
At the half, the two teams had tied it up eight different times, with the largest lead being six points for both. The third quarter served as a tug-of-war match with 10 lead changes, a final differential of three (Maine 77-74), and an even point spread of 26-all for the period. The Red Claws came out firing early, going up by ten in the first minute and a half, and continued to run away with the score.
Jermiane Taylor came off the bench to lead Maine with 29 points, while Curtis Jerrells added 19 points and 10 assists.
The Red Claws continue their five-game road trip with on Wednesday against Eastern Division leading Canton.
