Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired
forward Jussi Jokinen from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for a
conditional sixth or seventh round draft pick in 2013.

The 30-year-old was originally acquired by Carolina from Tampa Bay on Feb. 7,
2009. After registering 30 goals and 65 points in 2009-10, the Finn totaled 31
goals and 67 assists over the next two seasons.
Overall, Jokinen totaled 68 goals and 117 assists in 288 games with the
Jokinen has 121 goals and 225 assists in 569 career games with Dallas, Tampa
Bay and Carolina.
