FOXBOROUGH, MASS. (NEWS CENTER) - New England added two palyers each on offense and defense including veteran running back Legarrette Blount from Tampa Bay on the final day of the NFL Draft.
The Buccaneers leading rusher in 2010 and 2011 came to New England via a trade that sent running back and special teamer Jeff Demps and a seventh-round pick the other way.
With their first pick on day, the Patriots selected Texas Christian wide receiver Josh Boyce in the fourth round, number 102 overall. Boyce, listed at 5 '11'', 206 pounds, saw his stock dip due to a foot injury.
The Patriots wouldn't pick again until the seventh round, when they added to their front seven withthe additions of Illinois defensive end MIchael Buchanan and Rutgers linebacker Steve Beauharnais. Beauharnais is the third player selected from Rutgers in this draft joining defensive backs Logan Ryan and Duron Harom, who were selected in round three.
The Patriots wated no time signing undrafted free agents after the conclusion of the 2013 Draft.
