PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER) - One team's loss is another's gain.  That's the case with the Portland Pirates as the Phoenix Coyotes failure to make the playoffs means three NHL regulars of late have-rejoined the AHL club facing playoff elimination.

Forwards Chris Connor and Alexandre Bolduc, along with defenseman Michael Stone practiced with the Pirates for the second time on Wednesday since their return from Phoenix.

Despite missing more than a quarter of the AHL due to their time in the NHL, Bolduc (24 goals, 27 assists) and Connor (13 G, 27 A) rank second and fifth respectively among the Pirates.

Stone (6, 22 A in 36 games) ranks third among Portland defenseman.

Game three will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
