Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Montreal Impact came from two goals down in the second half to claim a 3-3 draw at Toronto FC on Wednesday, denying the home side a second win in four games.

The match couldn't have started worse for TFC as Montreal scored the opening goal inside of 30 seconds through Andres Romero.

But the hosts steadied themselves and netted three goals in the span of 18 minutes to take a 3-1 lead as Jeremy Brockie, Steven Caldwell and Darren O'Dea each found the net.

However, Montreal was able to leave with a point after goals from Hassoun Camara and Marco Di Vaio one minute apart midway through the second half.

TFC has now won just once in its last 15 league matches, while Montreal moves two points clear of Red Bull New York at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Romero took advantage of an early chance by dashing past a defender to get on the other end of a lobbed pass and he touched the ball past goalkeeper Joe Bendik before firing it into the net.

Brockie answered the goal with one of his own in the sixth minute as he collected a low driven ball from Bobby Convey to beat goalkeeper Troy Perkins from inside the penalty area.

Perkins was retrieving the ball from his net again in the 21st minute when Brockie's cross was headed home by an unmarked Caldwell, while O'Dea played a one-two with Luis Silva before beating Perkins with a left-footed shot.

Camara pulled Montreal to within a goal in the 69th minute when he collected a loose ball inside the area and hammered it home, while Di Vaio netted the equalizer one minute later after a failed clearance by the Toronto defense.

Despite the disappointing second half, Brockie nearly snatched all three points for his team when his low shot from outside the area beat Perkins but struck the post.
