ANDERSON, Indiana (NEWS CENTER) - Jeremy Kelley didn't get a lot of looks as a receiver at the University of Maine, but his 6'6'', 230 pound frame is grabbing more and more attention in the pros.
After a Black Bear career which ended with him recording only eight receptions and one touchdown, Kerley has increased his visibility in pro football: first it was in the Canadian then Arena and now National Football League.
After playing offense sparingly in the 2011 CFL season with the Hamilton Tiger Cats (only 15 yards receiving), Kelley caught on with the Utah Blaze in the 2012 AFL season. It was there where his catches (19) and in particular touchdowns (7) increased exponentially.
His eight-game performance earned him a contract with the Indianapolis Colts in January and now he's at their training camp trying to make the 53-man roster.
At 6'6'', Kelley is the Colts tallest receiver at training camp. Last year, the tallest wide out for Indianpolis was six feet even (Reggie Wayne).
