Sea Dogs lose big lead, rally to stop three-game skid

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Portland Sea Dogs let a five-run lead slip away in the top of the seventh only for a Kevin Heller two-run single in the bottom half as the Sea Dogs beat the Bowie Baysox 9-7. 

Highly-touted pitching prospect Henry Owens was pulled after just four innings after reaching his pitch count of 90.  He allowed two runs on four hits and walk whilst striking out eight. 

Red Sox catcher David Ross is expected to report to Hadlock Field on Saturday to begin a rehab stint with the Sea Dogs.
