BRUNSWICK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Bowdoin football team hung with unbeaten Wesleyan (CT) for three quarters, but couldn't hold on any longer when it came to the final frame as they fell 34-14.
Tyler Grant's 16-yard TD run trimmed a 14-0 deficit to a one-score game after three quarters. The Cardinals would score three touchdowns in the fourth, capped by Windham alum Taylor Jackson's 51-yard reception with 15 seconds remaining. Just before that Holderness grad Mac Caputi scored the Polar Bears only other touchdown.
Bowdoin falls to 2-4 on the year. They're at Bates next Saturday.
