Bowdoin field hockey wins 4th NCAA title in 7 years

NORFOLK, Virginia (NEWS CENTER) - Rachel Kennedy's goal less than two minutes into the second half was all the offense Bowdoin field hockey needed to earn their fourth NCAA championship seven years as they defeated Salisbury 1-0. 

The Polar Bears are now 4-0 all-time in the Division III final.  The Sea Gulls entered this match 5-0 in their previous title game appearances. 

Bowdoin (18-3) had four players on the all-tournament teams (Katie Riley, Rachel Kennedy, and Mettler Growney) as well as the Final Four MVP Olivia King.
