Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Morgan State will hire former Maryland wide receivers coach Lee Hull as its new head football coach, two coaching websites reported Wednesday.

CoachingSearch.com and FootballScoop.com both cited sources indicating Hull will succeed Donald Hill-Eley, who Morgan State did not bring back after 12 seasons.

Hull has spent the last six seasons at Maryland, mentoring such NFL wide receivers as Darrius Heyward-Bey and Torrey Smith. He had recently left the Terrapins' staff.

Among his previous coaching experience, Hull was an assistant at Oregon State from 2003-07 and his alma mater, Holy Cross, from 1998-2002.

Hill-Eley had a 59-76 record at Morgan State, including 5-7 this past season. The Bears are members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
