SCARBOROUGH, Maine (AP) -- For the first time, a Maine-based harness racer has reached the $1 million mark in purse earnings in one season.

It happened Sunday at Scarborough Downs when Drew Campbell reined four horses to victory. Campbell's achievement trumped Jason Bartlett who had accomplished the same feat in 2007, but did so while racing the final three months of the year for slots-enhanced purses in New York.

Campbell also passed 360 wins Sunday and is on his way to claiming back-to-back driving titles at Scarborough Downs.
