DEXTER, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A developer in Dexter is looking to revitalize the old Abbott Woolen Mill that has been used just as cold storage for the last 40 years.
Frank Spizuoco bought the three story, 32,000 square foot building and is hoping it can bring more jobs to the area. There's space for commercial use on the middle floor and residential apartments on the third level.
He says the best use would be for educational and medical purpose.
So far, a cooperative from Piscataquis Valley Adult Education occupying part of the building. The director says they are the anchor store in the new development.
